Welcome to NHS Choices Training

  • Our aim is to help and support health and non-health professionals with getting the most out of the NHS Choices website - www.nhs.uk.  The resources and tools within this website will help you to:

    • Easily navigate and explore the vast resources and useful features of the site
    • Show you how you can use NHS Choices as useful tool to complement your work

    The training aims to support people who provide health care information to the public in their day-to-day jobs.  They can include health visitors, library staff, pharmacists, community workers, social workers, midwives and other professionals.  Get started by viewing the online tutorials to learn more about the NHS Choices website and how it can be of use to you.

Instructions

To access the training resources you will need to create an NHS Choices training account.

Once your account has been created, you'll be able to enrol yourself on the courses and view all the training materials that are on offer.

Data Protection Act 1988:  NHS Choices Moodle users are reminded that their use of Moodle will be logged and this information, with other personal data about them contained within the system, will be used by relevant NHS Choices staff to monitor their participation, progress and completion of the course.
